Here’s how to get started:
When you’ve completed the Bayyinah Dream Arabic Curriculum, your next step is to take and pass the Bayyinah Dream Exam. This assessment ensures you’ve mastered the grammar and foundational concepts necessary to excel in ARÖMER’s immersive environment.
Upon passing the Dream Exam, you’ll be requested to pay a $150 non-refundable deposit and take the placement test. This test will assess your current proficiency level, ensuring your ARÖMER experience is tailored to your specific needs and skills.
Once accepted, you’ll gain access to essential resources, including vocabulary lists and conjugation charts. You can also connect with a group of ARÖMER alumni. Use these materials and support to prepare and build confidence ahead of the program.

What is the ARÖMER Arabic Summer Intensive?
The ARÖMER Arabic Summer Intensive is a one-month immersive Arabic program running from July 21 to August 19, 2025. This unique experience enhances Arabic comprehension, reading, listening, writing and speaking skills through a meticulously crafted curriculum taught by seasoned professionals.
Is ARÖMER a Bayyinah program?
No. ARÖMER is an independent Arabic Center operating from Istanbul 29 Mayıs University. It is highly endorsed by Bayyinah and Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan for its excellence in teaching Arabic.
Who is this program suitable for?
This program is for individuals aged 18+ with basic Arabic reading and writing skills. Placement tests ensure students start at one of eight levels tailored to their proficiency, maximizing the 100 hours of instruction.
Does the course focus on Quranic Arabic or modern spoken Arabic?
ARÖMER emphasizes modern spoken Arabic, equipping students to comfortably converse on topics like current affairs, literature and more, while also improving fluency in reading and writing.
What is the language of instruction?
The program is taught entirely in Arabic, providing full immersion.
Is there a limit to the number of participants?
Yes, the program is limited to 175 participants. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, contingent upon placement test completion and timely fee payments.
Will Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan be teaching during the program?
No. Highly qualified professors will lead the sessions. Ustadh Nouman will attend as a student inshaAllah, confident in the program's quality and track record.

How is the course structured?
Students complete 100 hours of lessons across four weeks (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM). Instruction includes spelling, pronunciation, comprehension, grammar and linguistic immersion activities using various media.
How many hours of instruction are there each day?
The daily schedule includes five 50-minute sessions with breaks, including a 50-minute lunch break.
What level of Arabic proficiency is required?
Is there a placement test?
Yes. Applicants take a placement test to ensure they are assigned to one of eight levels suitable for their proficiency, optimizing their learning experience.
Is the program suitable for beginners?
Beginners are required to start with Bayyinah’s Dream BIG: 10-Day Arabic Intensive, available for free on Bayyinah TV. Participants must then pass the Bayyinah Dream Arabic exam before applying.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes, participants must be 18 years or older.

Are there exams during the program?

What is the cost and what does it include?
Is accommodation provided?
Yes, gender-segregated dormitories are available. Male dorms are on campus; female dorms are nearby with shuttle service.
What amenities are included?
Dormitories include beds, bedding, refrigerators, washing machines and unlimited internet.
Can I arrange my own accommodation?
Yes, but students are responsible for transport and timely arrival.
When should I apply for a visa?
Begin visa applications after receiving final admission confirmation, ideally one month before the program start date.
Are meals included?
Full board includes three meals daily, except Sundays (two meals). Half board includes one daily meal (Monday–Friday).
Are cultural excursions included?
No. Students are free to plan independent activities outside of class hours.
