ARÖMER Terms & Conditions 2025

1.Program Overview: 

  • The ARÖMER Arabic Summer Intensive intended for individuals aged 18 and above with a basic understanding of reading and writing in Arabic. This one-month summer course focuses on improving Arabic speaking skills through a customized curriculum led by experienced professionals.  

2. Application Process: 

  • Applications must be submitted electronically along with any requested supporting documents.  
  • 13 April 2025: Application Ends (First Deposit) 
  • 4 June 2025: Full Payment Deadline 
  • 19 July 2025: Arrival 
  • 21 July 2025: Lessons Start 
  • 15 August 2025: Lessons End 
  • 18-19 August 2025: Final Exam 
  • 20-25 August 2025: Departure 

3. Acceptance: 

  • Acceptance into the ARÖMER Arabic Summer Intensive is contingent upon individuals aged 18 and above with a basic understanding of reading and writing in Arabic and is further based on merit and the success of the application process, which includes the completion of the application form and interview. 
  • Accepted applicants will receive notifications by April 15th and are required to confirm their participation within a week by submitting the necessary deposit.  

Failure to complete this process in time will result in the forfeiture of their enrollment, making it available for participants on the waiting list. 

  • Participants will need to pay the fees in two installments, a $150 deposit and full fee by 4th of June. 

4. Program Fees: 

  • Participants are responsible for program fees: 

Half-board, including tuition and one meal on campus for $1350. 

Ful board, including tuition, meals, transport and accommodation for $2000. 

  • Fees must be paid in full by 4th of June. Failure to complete this process in time will result in the forfeiture of their enrollment. 

5. Cancellations and Refunds: 

  • Applications can be terminated at any point during the assessment process up to the 15th of April. 

All positions will be secured by the 4th of June 2024, any cancellations or withdrawals thereafter will still incur the full fee. 

Participants will not receive any refund after 4th June 2024. 

Please be aware that the $150 fee for the ARÖMER placement interview is non-refundable after the interview has taken place. 

6. Accommodation: 

  • Accommodation is provided only for full-board applicants for the duration of the program. 
  • Participants are expected to adhere to accommodation rules and regulations. 

7. Code of Conduct: 

  • Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner. 
  • Any violation of the code of conduct at İstanbul 29 Mayis University campus may result in dismissal from the program without a refund. 

8. Health and Safety: 

  • Participants are responsible for their own health insurance. 
  • Emergency contact information must be provided and participants must adhere to safety guidelines. 

9. Excursions and Activities: 

  • The program does not offer additional facilities or activities either on or off-campus. Any independently planned activities should take place during the weekend and must be separate from the official program. Participants are advised to consult the student handbook for information on campus opening and closing times. 

10. Visa and Travel: 

  • Participants are responsible for obtaining the necessary travel documents and visas and should ensure their own arrangements prior to confirming their place.  
  • The program does not cover flights or airport transfers.  
  • Transportation to and from campus is specifically arranged to facilitate convenient access to the female dormitory facilities for participants enrolled in the full board program. 

11. Changes to the Program: 

  • The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the program schedule or activities only if necessary.  

12. Disclaimers: 

  • Campus security is available 24/7 for the safety of students on campus. 
  • Participants are strongly advised to exercise caution and prioritize their safety when outside the designated program locations. 
  • The organizers are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury that may occur outside of the program’s designated campus and dormitory facilities. 
  • Participants are encouraged to secure their belongings and follow safety guidelines. 

13. Governing Law: 

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Türkiye.  

By participating in the ARÖMER Arabic Summer Intensive in Türkiye, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
