Adam Jamal, M.Ed.

Director and Lead Instructor

Ustadh Adam Jamal is the head instructor of Bayyinah’s Dream program. He was born and raised in Houston, TX and began his study of Islam at the age of 16 in Darul Uloom, Blackburn, UK where he was at the top of his class. After two years in the UK he moved to France and attended IESH, an institution for the study of Arabic and Islam. It was at IESH that he completed a BA and obtained Ijazaat in Shariah. Later he studied privately with teachers in Egypt, UK, and US. After completing his studies he worked in various positions as an Islamic studies schoolteacher, an imam, and finally as a teacher of the subject he loves most: Arabic! Ustadh Adam joined Bayyinah in 2013 and recently completed his Master's in Education. Outside of Dream, Quran, and Arabic, he enjoys learning about new technology, teaching methods, business practices, and training for that marathon he will run someday.

Ifrah Shareef

Lead Teaching Assistant

Ifrah Shareef was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from Ohio State University with a degree in Microbiology and Psychology she came to the Dream program in 2010 to learn Arabic. She graduated among the first batch of students. She has always had a passion for learning Arabic but she didn't want to travel abroad by herself. So when she learned about the Dream program she had to attend it the first year. After graduation she decided to stay the next year to help Ustadh Nouman out and TA the program to solidify the knowledge. She loved her job so much she stayed for three more years. She has been the Lead TA for the past three years and this year she is also working on the curriculum for Arabic with Husna. Ifra loves working with the students and helping them understand Arabic. She also enjoys creating study materials to help the students. She wrote the textbook for the Dream Program and currently is working on writing the textbook for Arabic with Husna.

Sa'id Abedi was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He left a position with a law firm to be able to attend Bayyinah's Dream Program. Within a short time he went from relearning the Arabic alphabet to picking up books of tafseer. He was amazed that he could not only read it but he could comprehend what he was reading. Sa'id has been blessed with the opportunity to learn from a team of incredible teachers and is now able to teach what he has learned. When he isn't on campus he might be with his wife and two children enjoying sushi.

Faadhil AbdulHakkim

Faadhil Abdulhakkim was born in Chennai, India where he lived most of his life. After completing his high school in India, he moved to the United States for higher studies. Faadhil enrolled in the University of Texas at Dallas as a Software Engineering major; he is currently a senior. Faadhil is very passionate about Arabic and Quran Studies. In fact, he took a year off of school to study Arabic and Quran at Bayyinah Institute. He now hopes to further enrich his Arabic and Quranic knowledge by serving as a TA (teacher's assistant) at the Bayyinah Dream program and as the Study Materials Coordinator / Arabic Expert for Bayyinah TV.

Nouman Ali Khan

Special Sessions Instructor (Quranic Studies, Quran Translation, Surah Al-Kahf In-Depth)

Nouman Ali Khan is the founder and CEO of Bayyinah and serves as a lead instructor for a number of programs including traveling seminars and Bayyinah TV. His serious Arabic training began in the U.S. in 1999 under Dr. Abdus-Samie, founder and former principal of Quran College in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
Nouman served as a professor of Arabic at Nassau Community College until 2006 when he decided to take Bayyinah on as a full-time project. Since then he has taught more than 10,000 students through traveling seminars and programs. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas and is focusing on teaching his students, developing Arabic curricula and filming material for Bayyinah TV.

Abdul Nasir Jangda

Special Sessions Instructor (Hadith)

Abdul Nasir Jangda was born and raised in the Dallas area. He graduated from Jamia Binora’s Alim program in Karachi, Pakistan and holds an M.A. in Arabic from Karachi University as well as a Master’s of Islamic Studies degree from the University of Sindh.

Abdul Nasir currently serves as an instructor for Bayyinah, is a founding member of Mansfield Islamic Center in Arlington and serves as a director for Qalam Institute. His current projects include Bayyinah’s Qur’an Intensive, Qalam’s one-year Seminary Program, and his extensive online Seerah course.

Omar Suleiman

If he is not investing hours researching, reading and teaching Shaykh Omar loves to spend time with his wife and two adorable kids, May and Abdullah. A football fan at heart and having the height advantage in basketball, Shaykh Omar loves to stay in shape and have fun playing sports. As a speaker, Shaykh Omar is able to pack tons of information into an easy to digest format for the Muslim and non-Muslim audience. He is known for being straight to the point and speaking from the depth of his heart. A hafiz of the Qur'an, Shaykh Omar's formal training started in 2000 in the United Arab Emirates where he spent a few years at the feet of prestigious scholars such as Shaykh Tariq Ibn Rajah and Amr Al Sheshany. Since then he been under the tutelage of Shaykh Salah As Sawy, Dr Hatem Al Haj, his father in law Shaykh Abul Abed, and Al Allamah Shaykh Omar Al Ashqar (rahimahullah).

Mounzer Taleb

Monzer Taleb is an Imam, Qari, Khateeb and lecturer who has been in the DFW area for the past 30 years. He studied under his father Dr. Mostafa Taleb, who was a graduate of Al-Azhar University. Taleb conducts many seminars in leadership, family and youth topics. He has also conducted a series about the Prophet Muhammad’s Seerah and the four Khulafa Ar-Rashideen. He is currently a board member for the Islamic Association of North Texas and teaches during the Bayyinah Dream program.
