Accomplishments from the First Year of Dream
Irving Masjid Hosts Graduation for Dream Students
The inaugural year of the Bayyinah Dream Program is finally coming to a close. One of the reasons Bayyinah chose to open its campus in Irving, TX was the proximity to the Islamic Center of Irving. It was important that our students, most of whom are away from their family and friends for 10 months, be in a community that welcomed them and made them feel at home. We extend our most heartfelt thank you to the Irving community – Imam Zia, the shura body and council, and all the individual community members – for welcoming our students and forging lasting bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood.
Irving Masjid held a graduation celebration for the Bayyinah students and we have shared some of the photographs here below.
Clarification About Dream Program 2011 and Onward
After receiving a number of questions via email, we wanted to post a quick clarification regarding the Dream program for the academic 2011/12 and onward.
Firstly, please note that Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan is committed to being present at the Dream program full-time (not just for next year, but the following years as well). Other instructors involvement will vary by module, and we will update the Dream faculty page as any changes are finalized.
Secondly, please note that there are no plans to cancel the Dream program for the 2012/13 academic year, or after that. The program will continue as planned, and applications and program calendar will be made available toward the end of this year.
Thirdly, for those still wishing to see if it would be possible to secure a seat in the Dream program for 2011/12, please contact us.

Surah YaSeen
The Qur’an for Family series is our newest initiative at Bayyinah. It is a series of family friendly, affordable, insightful and enjoyable programs designed to inspire and motivate the entire family to build a strong bond with the Final Word.
How Does it Work?
One of the requests that Bayyinah receives regularly is for instructors to visit a community more frequently, and for more Quranic studies programs. Not just Quranic studies programs, but ones that the whole family can come and enjoy.
With this in mind, we launched the Quran for Family series in June 2010. The structure of the program is to take one surah and cover it in a half day format (11am to 6pm). It is something that the whole family can attend and benefit from.

How Do We Bring it To Our Community?
Quran for Family is only being taught at locations that have previously held a Bayyinah weekend seminar (Essentials of Tajweed, Divine Speech, and/or Meaningful Prayer). To bring it to your community, click here for more information.

Night of Quranic Reflections Pt 1
Thanksgiving weekend 2010, Bayyinah instructors and administrators visited NYC for a special program titled “Evening of Qur’anic Reflections” at the Jamaica Muslim Center. Alhamdulillah the program was attended by over a thousand people with another 400 individuals tuning in to the live broadcast. The program was recorded and is being provided here free of charge.
