Access Coordinator and Instructor (Texas)
Wasif Khan was born in Doha, Qatar and moved to the United States at the tender age of two. Being the youngest of four siblings, he was always motivated to excel in his studies. His keen interest in the Book of Allah led him to begin memorizing the Qur’an at a very young age.
In 2010, Wasif enrolled in Bayyinah's Dream Program where he was among the top graduates of its first year. He then obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and went on to work as a marketing professional for a Fortune 500 company. While working full-time, Wasif taught a 1-year Quranic Arabic Program for Islamic Learning Foundation in Chicago.
In 2014 Wasif graduated from the Qalam Institute's 1-year Islamic Studies Program. Currently he teaches Bayyinah's Access Evening Arabic Program.
Access Instructor (Texas)
Sister Fuseina Mohamad was born in Seattle to Ghanaian parents. She was raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and returned to the United States to complete higher education. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa and a Master’s in Information Systems from Illinois State University. She has always had a deep interest in understanding the Qur’an and took the opportunity to enroll in Bayyinah’s Dream Program. She graduated among the top students of Dream 2012. After graduating from the Dream program Sister Fuseina took on the responsibility of heading Bayyinah’s first Access Program, teaching Quranic Arabic for sisters in the DFW area. She also started Bayyinah’s first continuing education program for graduates of the Dream and Access programs. Sister Fuseina also started Bayyinah’s first 10-Day Fundamentals of Classical Arabic courses for sisters only and has taught the course several times around the country. Sister Fuseina is a recent graduate of the Qalam Seminary Islamic studies program. She continues higher Arabic and Islamic studies while also pursuing hifdh of Quran and Tajweed studies.
Access Instructor (Texas)
Jawairia was born in Pakistan and graduated from University of Engineering & Tech Lahore. She then moved to Sweden and continued studies in Masters in Spatial Planning at the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. Jawairia spent a couple of years in Riyadh and completed her MIS from the McGrath Institute of Technology, an Australian accredited University . In 2010 she moved to Dallas, TX and started Quranic studies with Al-Huda Institute. She completed Bayyinah's 10 Day Fundamentals of Classical Arabic program and later the Access Program. Her passion to understand the meaning and wisdom of the glorious Quran lead her to enroll in the Dream Program. She graduated with honors from the Dream Program in 2014.
She is a Sunday School teacher at IACC in Plano, TX and an active member of IACC Dawah committee. She lives in McKinney TX with her husband and two adorable daughters. She loves to travel and interact with people from different faiths and cultures.
Access Instructor (Canada)
Junaid Ali grew up in Chennai, India and moved to Canada at the age of 14. He completed his high school there and is currently completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the University of Toronto. Under the tutelage and the motivation of his mother, he memorized the Quran at the age of 18. Alongside his memorization, he studied Arabic and later began teaching at Al-Manarat Academy in Mississauga, Toronto.
He has always been inspired by the beauty of the Quran and enjoyed delving deeper within it to discover its gems. This passion led him to join the Bayyinah Dream Program and graduate among the top of his class. (Fun Fact: He can speak 5 different languages).
Access Intructor (Plano)
Obaidullah Ahmad was born and raised in Long Island, NY. He began memorizing the Quran at a young age and was able to complete his memorization by the age of 13.
His religious education continued after graduating from Stony Brook University with a B.A. in Economics. Obaidullah enrolled in Bayyinah's Dream Program where he was among the top graduates of its first year. He has been the assistant instructor alongside Shaykh Abdul Nasir at Bayyinah’s Quran Intensive since completing the Dream Program. He served as the Arabic and Quran teacher at the Muslim Community of Knoxville.
In 2015 Obaidullah graduated from the Qalam Institute's 1-year Islamic Studies Seminary Program. Currently he serves as a TA at Bayyinah’s Dream Program and teaches Bayyinah's Access Evening Arabic Program.
