Who We Are

Bayyinah is a non-denominational organization that excels in offering the highest quality of Arabic education to well over a hundred communities across the United States, while keeping the cost minimal and the schedules of classes feasible for people with different full-time commitments. The primary mission of Bayyinah is to popularize Arabic studies along with sound literary appreciation of Islam’s sacred texts. In essence, we hold that the aesthetic beauty of Islam’s sacred literature cannot be appreciated in a genuine manner in any rendition other than its original, pristine Arabic.

What We Do

Provide Arabic language and literature related intensive courses in communities all over the United States.

Offer a comprehensive Qur’anic Arabic self-study curriculum online with study materials and pre-recorded instructional videos.

Working to create a full time Arabic immersion program the goal of which is to produce high caliber students of Arabic and even certified teachers.

What We Believe

We believe that Muslims from all walks of life regardless of gender or age have the right to a high quality, affordable, effective, and enjoyable Arabic education. We have taken upon ourselves to become a small part of delivering that noble right to the community spread across the United States and welcome our non-Muslim neighbors to take part in our programs as well. We live in times where a direct understanding of Islam’s intellectual legacy without losing any part of it to mistranslation or misinterpretation is both desirable and critical.

We also believe that in addition to popularizing Arabic studies for communities at large, we must also work to ensure the development of home-grown teachers that are ready to take on the challenge of educating their respective communities meeting the highest standards of excellence.

Finally, We believe that a successful delivery of education is a combination of

• a carefully crafted curriculum,
• an efficient scheduling model,
• an instructional methodology that is uniquely catered to a distinct student population, and
• an instructor who knows not only how to execute lessons but to instill a lasting love and curiosity of the subject matter into students all the while building confidence rather than intimidation.

This belief drives each of our meritorious instructors to be the best at what they do and give students an experience that is both beneficial and memorable. We are humbled by and proud of countless course reviews that echo the sentiment that our teachers have been the best a student has ever had.

Added to the core beliefs about how to deliver education is our attitude concerning the relationship our instructors are to have with the student bodies that they serve. Our instructors are at the service of their students. Questions are always welcome, the doors to continued contact remains wide open and we ensure that students feel that instructors make them feel like they are one of them.
